What is Mailjet and why should I use it?
Mailjet is a cloud-based, all-in-one email service provider (ESP) that allows you to send both transactional and marketing email campaigns. Create your account in a few clicks and send your first message in minutes!
Why should I use Mailjet?
We have a large team devoted to helping your emails land in the inbox, including our Deliverability experts who can not only advise you on your practices but also have long-term relationships with ISPs like Gmail and Outlook.
How to Get Started with Mailjet
There are three simple ways to start using Mailjet. Each method is complementary and can be combined to manage your entire email lifecycle.
Send Newsletters with Our Online Tools
With our intuitive drag-and-drop editor, you can create and send your first newsletter in just a few easy steps.
Send via SMTP
Use the Mailjet SMTP relay to send transactional emails effortlessly. No coding required!
Send & Integrate Using Mailjet API
Leverage our powerful APIs to seamlessly integrate Mailjet into your information systems.
General Configuration
To ensure a smooth start with Mailjet, we advise configuring some key settings and following our best practices for good deliverability.
Sender Address
When using a third-party emailing service like Mailjet, you need to add and configure the "From:" email address, also known as the Sender Address. Now is the time to set up your sender addresses.
Step-by-Step Guide: How to add a sender address and validate a sending domain
Email Tracking Options
By default, tracking options for 'opens' and 'clicks' are activated for all new accounts. Keep these settings enabled to track who is reading your emails and which links are being clicked. You can adjust these settings on your Account Preferences page.
SPF & DKIM
To enhance your deliverability (ensuring your newsletters reach the recipient’s inbox rather than the junk folder), we strongly recommend setting up your SPF & DKIM records for your domain. These records validate Mailjet as a permitted sender and prevent email spoofing. For more information, check out our blog or FAQs:

Customized Tracking Links
By default, all tracking links follow this format:
You can create a customized tracking link for your domain, such as:
Customized tracking links are not only more attractive to your recipients but also help improve your deliverability. Before creating your customized link, your sender domain needs to be verified by Mailjet.
