One of Mailjet’s strengths is the ability to detect if an email would be marked as SPAM and has no chance of reaching the recipient’s inbox. In this case, your email will not be sent and it will have a status of "spam preblocked".
To check if an email has been "spam preblocked", you have two options:
-
- Go to your Campaign page and select Non-delivery --> Blocked.
All blocked email addresses will then be displayed. Check the list for a "spam preblocked" status...
...or download the CSV file of your "Blocked" emails and filter them by reason, in this case, "preblocked spam".
Downloading the CSV file is a faster option if you have a lot of blocked emails, as you can manually filter the reason and only show the spam preblocked emails.
- Go to your Stats page and filter your emails by "Blocked".
- Go to your Campaign page and select Non-delivery --> Blocked.
Then click on the subject of the blocked email whose status you want to check and the details column will show the reason for the block. If you see “spam preblocked”, it means our anti-spam system blocked your email from being sent based on its content.
