Transactional emails are sent as a result of a user action, such as signing up, making a purchase, or requesting a password reset. Common examples include welcome messages, shipping updates, order confirmations, password reminders, and purchase receipts.
Unlike transactional emails, marketing emails are distributed in bulk to multiple subscribers who have opted in. These emails, such as newsletters, event invitations, promotions, and announcements, are designed to engage a wider audience and can be enhanced with personalization and segmentation for targeted outreach.
