If you need to transfer a template between subaccounts, you can easily download it from one subaccount and upload it to another.
Format considerations
To use a template in the drag-and-drop interface of Mailjet’s Email Editor, you must download it in MJML format. Templates downloaded in HTML format can only be used in the HTML Expert Mode of the Email Editor.
Steps to download a template
- From the Template Gallery of the subaccount, you want to copy from:
- Click on Options (three dots).
- Select Download as → MJML file. (we will use MJML for this example)
Steps to upload the template to another subaccount
- Switch to the target subaccount and open its Template Gallery.
- Click on ‘Create a new template’.
- Select ‘By coding it in MJML’.
- Choose ‘Import MJML from file’ and upload the MJML file you previously downloaded.
- When prompted, click the ‘Use drag-and-drop’ button to edit the template using the drag-and-drop interface.
