Before you log into your GoDaddy account to create the new DNS records for your domain, you need to get the values of the SPF & DKIM records from your Mailjet account.
Go to your Domain Name Configuration page, and click on ‘Manage’ for your domain.
Here on the ‘Set up domain authentication’ page you will find the values for both the SPF & DKIM records:
Now, let’s create the new DNS records.
Log into your GoDaddy account, and from go to the My Account page, click on ‘+’ beside Domains.
Click ‘Manage DNS’ for the domain needing the SPF & DKIM configuration.
To create a new DNS record, click on ‘ADD’.
A new section will appear where you can select the DNS record type and enter the corresponding values.
For the SPF record, select ‘TXT’ as the record type, and add the SPF Host and TXT Values (found on your ‘Set up domain authentication page’).
Then click ‘Save’ and you have created your SPF record!
Click ‘ADD’ again to create the DKIM record. Select ‘TXT’ as the record type, and add the DKIM Host and TXT Values (as per on the ‘Set up domain authentication’ page). Then click ‘Save’ to save the record.
Awesome, you have created your SPF & DKIM records!
You can jump back to your ‘Set up domain authentication’ page to force a refresh and check if your SPF & DKIM records have been authenticated.
If your records do not authenticate right away, don’t worry as it may take up to 48 hours for the new DNS record information to reach Mailjet :)
