What is a template ID?
A template ID is an ID identifying a template previously created and stored in Mailjet's system. It is primarily used through the Send API to send transactional emails.
Where can I find my Transactional Template ID?
There are several places where you can find the template ID in the APP:
1. On the template design page click Preview & Test --> Use the Send API.
A new window will then appear displaying the template ID and a code sample you can use to send your template with the Send API.
2. On the template design page, the template ID will also be visible next to the template name.
3. On the confirmation page of a published template.
4. On your template management page, organize the view of the templates by list. Once done, the template ID will be displayed below the name of the template.
Where can I find my Marketing and Automation Template ID?
There are several places where you can find the template ID in the APP:
1. On the template design page, the template ID will also be visible next to the template name.
2. On your template management page, organize the view of the templates by list. Once done, the template ID will be displayed below the name of the template.
Important note!
Due to some updates and enhancements to our API, the transactional template ID you need to use for the Send API is no longer the same as the one that you see in the URL of your template.
In order to maintain the integrity of your API calls, please choose one of the above methods to get your template ID.
