As a Mailjet user, we understand the importance of being able to easily add your customers to your Mailjet mailing lists. This guide will teach you how to quickly and effortlessly add a Mailjet subscription form to your website using the Squarespace drag-and-drop builder.
Mailjet Subscription Form Overview
The Mailjet Subscription Widget consists of the following elements:
- A subscription form
- A confirmation email, which will be sent to the user who filled in the form
- A confirmation page, where the user will land after clicking on the link in the confirmation email
All of the above are customizable in the Mailjet Widget Builder. To create a new subscription form, go to the Subscription Widgets section of your account and click on ‘Create new widget’.

Add a Subscription Form to SquareSpace
Overview
Adding a Mailjet subscription form using the Squarespace website builder is quite simple:
- Retrieve the HTML code generated by Mailjet, once you have created the form.
- Add a code block in Squarespace to the section, where you want the form to be displayed.
- Paste the code in the code block.
Retrieve HTML Code
Go to the Widgets section in your Mailjet account. Then move your mouse cursor over the ‘Manage’ button and click on ‘View code’.
You will see the HTML code on the new page - click on ‘Copy’ to save it to your clipboard.
Add Code Block in Squarespace
Go into the Squarespace drag-and-drop builder. Then choose the section you want to add the subscription form to and click on ‘Edit’. For our example we will add the form to the section of the page just above the footer.
Click on the plus sign to add a new block, choose the ‘Code’ block and paste the code you have copied for your Mailjet widget. Then drag the form block and drop it in the position you have selected.
And that’s it! You have just added your subscription form into your website. Easy, right? :)
